ITEM ONE : DA VINCI SURGICAL SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION: Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem hereby requests robotic equipment suppliers to submit an offer for supplying their most advanced robotic systems in order to facilitate complex surgical procedures that are minimally invasive.

REQUESTED FEATURES: To supply, set up, install and integrate the equipment in accordance with the hospital’s regulations

The robotic system we seek should enable maximum flexibility and adaptive technology in performing surgical procedures in the Pelvic, Lower Abdomen and Upper Abdomen regions. It should include arms mounted onto an overhead boom that can rotate and pivot into virtually any position. The arms must be able to disconnect and re-connect during mid-procedure. The endoscope within the system should allow inside body visualization thereby delivering sharp and defined three-dimensional images. It must attach to any robotic arm providing the surgeon the ability to scope out the surgical area with more flexibility. The robotic arms should be relatively small, thin and have great range of motion. The instrument shafts, the sleeves that are inserted within the incision, should be longer thereby enabling surgeons to probe further. The system should allow for rapid repositioning of the patient without the reorganization of the operating suite and surgical cart. The system must work with 220V
