The USAID (United States Agency for International Development) funded project ECASE-The Education Consortium for the Advancement of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in Egypt, implemented by World Learning, is interested in procuring Text Books for the Ministry of  Education STEM Schools in Egypt.  ECASE presently works in collaboration with the MOE to develop STEM curriculum for 2-5 model STEM secondary schools with a potential for school replication nationwide. The Egyptian STEM school curriculum ensures that student learning is integrated across a range of non-STEM disciplines to facilitate a transdisciplinary, integrated, and hands-on learning environment. It emphasizes the teacher's critical role as a designer of student learning, by helping teachers clarify learning goals, devise revealing assessments of student understanding, and craft effective and engaging learning activities in conjunction with student capstone projects that are innovative and holistic, focusing on demonstrating Egyptian students’ abilities to operationalize the curriculum in a practical applied way that aims to solve Egypt's Grand Challenges.
