USAID SFB is seeking a qualified organization to implement comprehensive capacity building trainings to Ministry of Environment (MoE) protected area law enforcement staff. The training should be designed to improve the capacity and knowledge of both protected area (wildlife sanctuary) management and field based rangers. The organization chosen to implement this work will also provide a manual/booklet that covers the fundamentals provided in the trainings which will be delivered to rangers upon completion of the training.

The intent of this work is to increase protected area rangers and managers’ understanding of their roles and responsibilities and enhance their capacity with: 1) law enforcement; 2) Cambodian protected area law; 3) methods to implement their work while ensuring personal safety for themselves, their colleagues and the public. Potential topics for law enforcement training modules include: patrol planning and scheduling, adaptive planning, patrolling operations, data collection, intelligence gathering, reporting, arrest procedures, field crafts, safety protocols and other relevant skills.

USAID SFB has standard templates for the proposal, budget, and information forms for use in preparing and submitting a proposal. Proposals must be received no later than 5:00 PM Cambodia Time on Tuesday, November 25, 2016.  Late submissions will not be accepted.
